Wendy Denis was born in July 1974 near Vancouver Canada. Her love of gambling began at an early age, but started getting out of control in her twenties. After experiencing a number of personal losses from financial loss to loss of self-esteem and self-respect, in June 2005 she finally decided to pursue the help that she needed. She has attended rehab for Compulsive Gamblers, Gamblers Anonymous and Group and individual counseling sessions.

Wendy currently still resides in the Vancouver area. She has not gambled since June 21, 2005.
